Last weekend, the latest stop of the SoCal Race Series, the Lanakila Classic, took place in Redondo. It was Fanatic’s Belar Diaz who beat the locals to claim the competitive 14 foot class. Already winning the 14 footers in the last race, the Hal Rosoff Classic in Newport, it’s obvious that the Spaniard has a roll lately and will no doubt be looking to turn that form into a medal at the upcoming ISA Worlds in Nicaragua. Belar was riding the brandnew Falcon Flatwater in both races, a board especially made for conditions in flatwater races.
Well done Belar! Congratulations!
